The conference ICMSA-2022 will be held in Ekaterinburg.
Ekaterinburg is a large and rapidly developing city in Russia. It is located in the middle of the Eurasian continent, near the Europe – Asia geographic border, in the heart of the Ural region. It is one of the leading industrial, cultural, scientific and political centers in Russia. The city is featured by a temperate continental climate. The time zone of Ekaterinburg is UTC+5 (two hours ahead of Moscow and five hours ahead of Greenwich).
The International Airport Koltsovo in Ekaterinburg is connected by direct flights with many cities; many connecting flights are available from Moscow. The city is 1667 kilometers away from Moscow (2 hours of flight).
Conference participants will be accommodated at the boarding house "Ostrov Sokrovisch" («Treasure Island») which is located about 20 km out of the center of Ekaterinburg.
Buses will be arranged from the main building of the M.N. Mikheev Institute of Metal Physics (located in Ekaterinburg at the S.Kovalevskaya street, 18) to facilitate transfer of participants to the boarding house on September 4, 2022.
The ICMSA-2022 sessions will be arranged on the territory of the boarding house.
Registration of participants will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 during check-in.
The opening ceremony will be held on September 5, 2022 at 10:00.
The closing ceremony of the conference will take place on September 9, 2022.
Departure of participants is planned for the evening of Friday, September 9 and for Saturday, September 10.
The boarding house "Treasure Island" is located in a picturesque place, just a 30-minute drive away from the Ekaterinburg.
The rooms have all the necessary facilities: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, bathroom accessories.
The accomodation includes three meals a day and unlimited access to the pool with a jacuzzi.
There is also an opportunity for active recreation on sports grounds equipped for playing football and volleyball. You can use sports equipment.
